COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett was accused of displaying a gun and robbing two people in an alley behind a bar early Sunday, the latest trouble for the Buckeyes star who left the school in disgrace and failed to gain early entry into the NFL. Clarett allegedly fled the scene and was wanted on two counts of aggravated robbery. According to police, he left in a white sport utility vehicle with two other men and took only a cell phone from his alleged victims, who weren't injured.

This stuff is almost too perfect to be believable!

What a dumb a**! :bang: How many times you think they'll mention that during the Fiesta Bowl?

Yes, wouldn't he be a senior in this game now?

I think he would. If he watches the game, what would be going through his mind? Of course given what we know about him now, maybe he never would have stayed eligible at OSU this long.

Still a wanted man

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Former Ohio State running back Maurice
Clarett (kluh-REHT') remains at the center of a police hunt a day
after he was accused of holding up two people at gunpoint.
A police spokesman says detectives are following up on tips
about possible locations, but so far none has proved of value.
The 22-year-old Clarett helped the Buckeyes win the national
championship in 2002 before his football career headed south. He is
wanted on two counts of aggravated robbery. He is accused of
flashing a gun and demanding property from a man and a woman in an
alley behind a bar in downtown Columbus shortly before two o'clock
Sunday morning.

Well, at least he's not somebody who'd made millions of dollars playing pro sports like that baseball player. That, to me, in unbelievable. The guy made more than 2 million a year at one point. I guarantee you that if I made 2 million in even one year I'd never be in such bad shape that I'd have to go rob a jewelry store.
