Mahoney (Sioux Falls, S.D./O’Gorman HS) posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average while majoring in both English and Economics. Mahoney posted 247 career tackles to go along with four interceptions in his Panther career. He was a first-team all-MVFC pick in 2008 and 2009, while being named to the league’s All-Academic team three straight years (2007, 2008, 2009). Mahoney was a two-time Academic All-American.
