Congratulations to the Southland Conference and the city of Frisco, Texas!

Commissioner Tom Burnett and the rest of 'Team Frisco' deserve a pat on the back for all their efforts in knocking off the incumbent, who had held the title game since the late 1990s.

This is a chance for the SLC and Frisco to show that they can stage an excellent event and put all the parts together to secure the event for years to come.
