Another typical TXST slate of one FBS game and one sub-Div I game. Does this scheduling mean that TXST will go to both CP and SUU in '11? Or is the CP return game sometime after that?

I wouldn't think Cal Poly would travel to Texas State and then the next week travel to McNeese. That's a lot of traveling in two weeks.

I believe they were scheduled to play at McNeese and Northwestern State on back to back weeks in 2008.

What's the latest on Central Arkansas, SE Louisiana, and SFA schedules for 2010?

Hopefully Texas State can either win or come close to winning against Houston. I'm not looking forward to Mcneese playing both Mizzou & LSU.

I think when all said and done Cal Poly will have to be road warriors to have a chance at the playoffs in 2010.

Looks like road games include:

Fresno State
Texas State
McNeese State
Old Dominion
Southern Utah
South Dakota

Only one of which will be an easy bus trip (Fresno State). Cal Poly has in the past made Southern Utah a two day bus trip. I hope they decide to fly into Vegas and bus up this year.

I'm actually not expecting a close game, what with Keenum deciding to forego the draft and come back for his senior season.

I expect four quarters of high scoring football and the team that protects the ball the best will win. If we get a solid runnig game going early we will keep Keenum sidelined and control the tempo. Don't forget we have a qb with wheels also.
