They always had colonel reb up to now, except they wouldn't allow him on the field for the last seven years. He was in the stands and they still sold the same image of him on merchandise. They just keep stripping away every tradition. I'm not happy about it either. I've been a huge fan of Ole Miss since I was a kid.

What? The next attack may be on the UC Santa Cruz Banana Sloths. I understand PETA is looking hard at them. As for the Purple Paladins, I feel they are safe because the ghost of Richard Boone is reportedly watching over them, and no one, I mean no one, messes with Paladin!

Nope...can't have widget, it offends me. xlolx Watch soon they will take away all mascots. I'm suprised PETA hasn't gone after the live mascots like the Georgia Bulldog or LSU tiger. They would probably say we are mistreating the horse that rides in before the McNeese games. So can't have that either.

You really don't wanna get me started on the whole Ole Miss/Colonel Reb debacle. Or the "from dixie with love" debacle either. Why do you think the KKK showed up for the LSU game? The klan knows they are powerless these days but they, like the SCV, League of the South and others fight to keep what was once a great culture alive. Just remember boys and girls, ole honest Abe Lincoln hated blacks more than ANY plantation owner ever could. He wanted all AAs on a boat back to Africa, yet he gets a reprieve. Ole Miss, "from dixie with love", & colonel reb have nothing to do with the KKK or racism. If you have ever been to Ole Miss you would know that. Also it's not Ole Miss's fault they showed up at the LSU game. I was there at that game and NOBODY wanted them there either.xpeacex
