Probably not the story I needed to read when I'm moving back to NOLA tommorrow! ;)
"It was a tough season. We worked hard as a freshman class. A bunch of us are going to leave. I'd say at least half of the freshman class of 26 (players) will be gone by next week," Ryan Meyers, freshman QB at Tulane who was #3 on the depth chart.
Not any kind of good news for the Tulane program which has already had to cut some athletic programs. This guy who made the statement is looking at Colgate, Lafayette or Yale. Even more interesting is that he grew up in New Orleans and said the following:
"I was kind of thinking about it, telling myself it's going to be fine. Looking back on the devastation is something you can only feel with your own eyes. TV only says so much," Meyers said. "When you're driving through, houses and mansions you've known since you were 2-years old are gutted and there are places with red 'Xs' on houses because there are still dead bodies inside."
