UTSA is going to be very active in putting out as much positive news as possible. Would believe they are working on similar deals like this one and they'll make sure everyone within reach knows about it.

SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA Athletics Department and DOCUmation announced Thursday what could become one of the largest sports sponsorship agreements in school history. DOCUmation, a San Antonio based technology company, has agreed to provide up to $260,000 in cash and in-kind services over the potential five-year term of the agreement.

DOCUmation is a technology company providing network integration, document management, print/scan systems and FAX/e-SEND services in and around San Antonio. In return for cash and in-kind services, UTSA Athletics will provide advertising on basketball broadcasts, tickets to basketball and football games, signage at UTSA Athletics venues and personal appearances by Athletics Director Lynn Hickey and Head Football Coach Larry Coker.

“We’re extremely pleased to welcome DOCUmation as one of our corporate partners,” Hickey said. “We have worked with them for more than a year to promote UTSA Athletics. They are a very visible company and share the University’s concerns and commitment to the community. This is another major step forward for UTSA Athletics.”

Is UTSA part of the FCS? What was their record last year?

They were talking about this on the UTSA board.

Basically, DOCUmation is getting two spokespeople (the HC and AD), a signage deal, and a luxury suite in the Alamodome for $55k per year.
