And thank goodness for that! This means there are potential games for me to work for CBS like I did while in Houston (though limited for the NFC Saints). Of course, I work on Sundays so that won't be too good. It will be nice to have atleast one professional team in the city as the Hornets got such a great deal in OKC...
Home games in Baton Rouge. Training back in Metairie (my old home before I move Uptown this next week) and hopefully at the end of the year, games in the Superdome!
----------
National Football League Commissioner Paul Tagliabue and New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson have reportedly reached an agreement to move the hurricane-displaced team to its state-owned training facility in Metairie, La., after the season ends Sunday, according to a report in the San Antonio Express-News.
The Express-News said, citing unnamed sources speaking on the condition of anonymity, that Tagliabue is expected to inform the Saints players and coaches of the decision when he meets with them today in San Antonio.
The agreement likely eliminates the possibility of the Saints playing home games at San Antonio's Alamodome next season.
