Mountain Hawks took seven of ten bouts Saturday afternoon at Grace Hall. Lehigh scored pins from co-capt. Matt Fisk at 133, and sophomore Brandon Hatchett at 165 who is growing into his new starting role. One has to feel for senior Mike Galante, who has started at 165 the two prior seasons, but for now, he can't beat Hatchett, who is at least 6 inches taller. Only, 'downer' was #5 Soph. Zach Rey losing to #8 Senior Scott Steele at 285 by a razor thin 3-2 score. Thing with college heavyweights, the real good ones are so big/strong and closely matched, that the one who can grab the first takedown usually win, and that is what happened today. Lehigh now moves to 11-3 on the year with huge match next Friday night up at #1 EIWA and #5 Nationally Cornell.
