1) Take Reggie Bush at the #1 spot
or
2) Trade for another first round pick

Take Reggie Bush, but is Reggie going to want to play for the Texans?

If they get the #1, take Bush, trade Dominick Davis for a late first rounder and an actual honest to goodness NFL calibur NFL lineman.

If he is drafted by the Texans, he doesn't have a choice unless he is a selfish egomaniacal prick who thinks he is too good for the franchise and the city (i.e., Eli Manning and San Diego). And from what I've heard, RB is a stand-up guy...so I don't think it'll be an issue.

The Texans should fold their sorry-azzed franchise for good!

Bush is amazing. I think any franchise that passes on him is insane.

Texans are probably not going to have to worry about it....
That's right! I'm predicting a win! Best case scenario is Texans win and get the numero uno pick!

Even if we do beat the niners we should still get the #1 pick. The Texans had the easier schedule this season and still sucked it up.

Saints have had an easier schedule thus far. No clue how it's going to shape up...
Doesn't this look like bigdog from KatFans?

I think New Orleans and the Packers both have had easier schedules than the Texans. So, if they win, they could drop down out of the top two.

I about 45 minutes we are going to find out if the Texans have to worry about this or not.

It has been said that the Texans will NOT opt for Young but for Bush. I think this is a bad idea. Carr has done very little in his four years as the starting QB for the Texans. Young is a game changer and has the "IT" factor that Carr definetly does not.

Drafting Young would be a huge mistake and I would be ticked if they did. Your basically saying, "let's start over". Why should we do that? Young is going to be a few years away. If healthy (Davis, Wong, Walker, Weigert, Joppru) and some new additions (and consistency on the offensive line), they should have no issues getting to .500.
How can you blame Carr? Bad offensive line. You know how many teams would snatch him up in a heartbeat? When he actually ran the offense un-Capers-like, the Texans made something happen. Remember a few of those halves (because Capers didn't do it the whole game) where Carr was moving the ball down the field like we wanted? He has IT and he will show IT if given the chance and adding a Bush to the Davis/Johnson/Carr trio and getting more production from Gaffney (or another WR), as well having Joppru healthy (he's a stud TE when healthy who can BLOCK and CATCH), Texans will be .500 and one year away from playoffs like we should've been this year...

I like and respect you analyasis TT but I still do not think that Carr has the "IT" factor to the same degree as VY. I have not seen Carr take over a game in 4 years and show the confidence in himself that is needed to be a true leader and direct a team to the playoffs. Don't get me wrong, he is a decent QB, but does not have the presence needed on this team.

If you want to offload Carr, the Eagles would be interested. We need a good backup right now.

Well, I'm not too interested on starting over...
VY will mean a whole new start and this is a franchise that is several years old. May as well dump quite a few others if we're going to start over and be an expansion team all over again...
