If you study baseball Sabermetrics, Garland is one of the most likely pitchers in baseball to have a down season in 2006. The guy is coming off a career year and he had a lot of breaks fall his way in 2005, including terrific run support. With that big contract, he is ready for a big fall. Bad, bad decision by the ChiSox

Dave I have been reading up on that and the history behind Stats Inc, and the saber machine. I purchased a book last year that talked about that stuff (can't remember the name, had a green cover) and was great. Any suggested reads?
