Just a couple weeks ago he declared the Jets playoff hopes dead... now after sneaking in thanks to the Colts desire to not be perfect, he says his team should be listed as the favorites...

The Jets...the favorites?

If it were not for the Colts and Bengals not really caring - they would be sitting on the sidelines and dare say, my Houston Texans would be in! Of course, if Kris Brown learned how to make a FG again, the Texans would be in too...

The top seeds are the favorites - Saints and Colts. Outside of that, you go with the hot teams like the Packers...?

I actually wouldn't label either of them as favs in their conferences. The Colts have been barely winning games all season and the Saints have been struggling.

Dallas and San Diego I would label as favorites going into the playoffs this weekend.

Unlike most seasons though I think each team in the playoffs has the chance to go all the way.

He said it with tongue in cheek. What a breath of fresh air compared to Mangini and Edwards.

JEts rookie QB will bite them in the butt one weekend. I'll take SD and Minn.

How can you not enjoy Rex Ryan? I'm not a Jets fan but I sure enjoy his style, which is funny because I couldn't stand his old man.

Minn? Really? That Min veteran QB may bite them in the butt one weekend.

I can see SD though. My guess is SD and Phi/Dal winner (My guess now is Dal)

My guess is Green Bay vs. San Diego, but I can see the Jets making it through my homer glasses. #1 ranked defense and the #1 running game means if they can get up early, they can take the air out of the ball so to speak...
