... is the New York Yankees.
Four WS appearances; two World Series titles; nine playoff appearances; and eight AL East titles.
Four 100 win seasons.
Money wisely spent. xlolx

The Yankees success this decade (and the latter half of the last) was due in large part to players from their farm system. They had better hope they are that fortunate again with their next core of players after that core retires soon. The money certainly didn't help them in the 80s. Player development is just as important. Look at the Phillies' success with a predominantly home-grown team on half the Yanks' budget,

Are we exclusively talking MLB or does the Penn State women's volleyball program get the ultimate snub?

I long for the good old days of those late-60s Yankees teams with the likes of Horace Clarke, Jake Gibbs and Hector Lopez.xpeacex

If calling them the "Team of the Decade" annoys Travis, then I'm ok with that. xlolx

Baseball no doubt about it. Good debate with Lakers and Pats for overall in the three major sports (and I just realized i can't stand any of the three teams, ugh)

The Pats certainly win in the "Best Use of Video Technology" category.
