Attendance at playoff and Championship games seems to be an ongoing issue.
I would like to see a chart of undergrad enrollment of the playoff schools this year.
Secondly, with the game being moved to January, why does the NCAA insist on us playing a championhsip game in an area that could be subject to very poor weather.....I urge everyone and I may get the Sporting Newsand Coulson...to contact the NCAA on this and contact

Excellent GSU Holligan.....Now put up the undergrad enrollment of the BCS schools this year......I think the comparisons will be obvious. With such small undergrad populations and hence alumni bases it will be hard for most to ever draw large crowds in excess of 20k to a game............

Or change the championship game to be played on the field of one of the teams playing the championship. With the highest attendance average for the year to determine who gets the championship game. It would give the home team fans a reason to show up to their playoff games.
But I would root for either New Orleans, Dallas, or Houston. It definitely needs to be where college football is king.
But then again they will never listen to the fans. It's all about who pays the most $$$.

While Txstate was not in the playoffs this year, enrollment last I heard was in the 29,000 range. As wittnessed by the 2005 semifinal playoff run, people will show up to watch the Cats when they have proven success on the field.

While Txstate was not in the playoffs this year, enrollment last I heard was in the 29,000 range. I am sure I will be corrected, but I wan to say we are the 3rd largest in the State of Texas: 1. UT, 2. TA&M, 3. Texas Tech/Texas State. As wittnessed by the 2005 semifinal playoff run, people will show up to watch the Cats when they have proven success ok the field.

I'm amazed Weber is over 20k in undergrad students (I'm assuming less than 2200 grad students). Was around 15-16 my senior year in 2003. Davis campus and online, I guess.

It was reported a couple years ago in the Portland Oregonian that Portland State had the highest enrollment among all Oregon higher ed institutions. PSU had 27K, UO had 25K and OSU had 21K. I don't know what the figures are now but I've heard that PSU still has the highest enrollment.
