2010 European Champions League Draw

The draw was arranged so that eight group winners would be paired with eight group runners-up, although no team from the same group or country could meet.

- The first legs will be played on February 16/17 and 23/24, 2010
- The second legs will be played on March 9/10 and 16/17, 2010
- The group winners will play the second leg at home

Stuttgart (Germany) vs Barcelona (Spain)
Olympiacos (Greece) vs Bordeaux (France)
Inter Milan (Italy) vs Chelsea (England)
Bayern Munich (Germany) vs Fiorentina (Italy)
CSKA Moscow (Russia) vs Sevilla (Spain)
Lyon (France) vs Real Madrid (Spain)
Porto (Portugal) vs Arsenal (England)
AC Milan (Italy) vs Manchester United (England)

Two real sexy draws there with the two Italian and two English sides. Beckam will be playing for AC going up against his former team and Chelsea with get a crack at Inter with their former coach Mourinhi coaching the Italian side.

2 French teams into the last 16 is interesting, if somewhat unexpected. As is the lack of any Dutch team (PSV? Ajax?)

CSKA Moscow-Sevilla intrigues me, but it certainly isn't going to have the wider appeal

Juventus and Liverpool are the big names missing; their presence likely would have given some more interesting matchups

Still, I'm looking forward to Arsenal's showdown with Porto xthumbsupx :D

I am interested to see if the boys from sunny Spain can survive the Russian winter
