Whoever said the Ivies don't care about sports? Penn starts the year 0-7 and they fire their 2nd year coach & replace him with former Penn star Jerome Allen, who will have to be one of the younger coaches in D-1.

Did this happen? I had no idea Penn was winless this year until i saw this thread; their coach Glenn Miller used to be the coach at Brown from 1999-2006. Penn made the NCAA tournament in Miller's first year there (2007), but have gotten worse each year since then.

Correct he won 22 games the 1st year & has struggled mightily since.

You can say that again - when you lose to Delaware this year as Penn did, it's almost a requirement that you be fired. xsmhx

I remember when Lehigh's Billy Taylor interviewed there when the job went to Miller. Taylor then went to Ball State a year later. At the time, the Penn job seemed to be a diminishing position.
