i saw on espn that every player in the fbs bowls gets like a one time (per year) up to $500.00(no money) for bowl games depending on sponsors. so i was wondering if or should our fcs championship teams have the same type of give away?

you can typically find the give aways on a website....they get some sweet stuff.

There should be "give-away" packages for each level of "losers" up until the championship game, and then those two get a little better package or something. They definitely should get something.

These guys are getting a free education at a top flight college or university. And they get to keep playing football while other people are sitting at home watching them. What else do they need? To me, one of the more unsavory things of FBS football is the inevitable story about the 6-6 team going to a bowl game and each being given a Sony Playstation and an XBox 360, plus games. I'd hate to have that repeated at this level. Just play the game and enjoy the playoffs.

That is because they have big time sponsors for these games. There are no such sponsors for each of the FCS playoff games.

The stuff they get though is pretty sweet. Lots of them are getting things like HDTVs, iPods, stuff like that.
