Who knows, but we need competition at all positions so they don't slack off. The more competition at that position, the better IMO.

He must be a smart kid. His scout.com page lists Vandy, Boston College, Dartmouth and Yale recruiting him out of HS. Also, Marshall... talk about what name doesn't fit.
Looks like a lot of teams were trying to invite him onto campus as a preferred walk-on (Tennessee and Souf Carolina were also listed) but none of the I-As offered.
Scout.com doesn't list Yale and Dartmouth as officially offering either but I'm assuming that is because Ivy League doesn't officially give athletic schollys... if they want you to play ball for them they give aid other ways that basically acts as an athletic scholly.
