He's played in 50, so if you can remember when he may have sat out the start of some games, you can probably figure it out.

Would have started in all but 2 I believe, the NCSU and next game in '05. So 48 starts, 6 loses? With Woff '07 the only loss as starting and not really finishing due to injury.

Yes, those are excluded from the 50 from above. App St. has played more than 50 games over that time.

Wow haven't looked at that in awhile.....that 2007 season was pretty amazing.....missed 4 games and still amassed 3536 yards and 126 points!!

By my count (by no means definitive) I come up with 48 starts. I think the only 2 games he played in that he didn't start were NC State, followed by JMU.

biggie, He also lost 38 - 35 to GSU in 2007 when we broke your consecutive home winning streak. AE started and finished that game. I believe he was injured for 2 or 3 games before that though and that was the game when he came back IIRC.

I never said he won that game and I never said he didn't start, nor that he didn't finish that game. It is 1 of the 6 losses I mentioned. Just in the Wofford game that year he didn't finish it due to injury.

UR and Wofford clearly wasn't the same AE as normal. I dont think these losses should be discounted because durability and toughness is part of his amazing streak.

LSU is a game we were just completely overmatched and more or less shocked by the atmosphere/size LSU had.

GSU was a game Armanti clearly wasn't himself for whatever reason and it was a game we usually still win, but not that day.

His record is pretty amazing!
Honestly, we lost the McNeese, Wofford and Ga. Southern games not becuase of injuries, but because our defense couldn't get off the field and stop their offenses. Early turnovers also hurt us against GSU.

Of course, for arguments sake, I'm sure we've won a few due to factors other than AE.

Regardless, here's hoping for one more. BEAT MONTANA first, of course.
Then, we can continue the conversation from there.

I was at the Wofford game and though the "film" of him playing in my mind is not fresh, he seemed to be playing just fine to me and I think I was surprised to see him come out in the second half
