Scarano: UNH Football Not In Danger

Barely 24 hours before he will accompany his own football team to the airport for its playoff flight to Villanova, University of New Hampshire athletics director Marty Scarano had to choke down the news of another football death on Thursday.

I have to say I am kind of glad he came forth and said this. Puts a little ease on this area...it is important that we know what the school thinks and where they want to be in the future. Not quite sure if they will be able to move forward in regards to facilities, but hopefully a win Saturday goes a long way to showing people we can win and that it is time for the school/state to throw some more money the programs way to help ensure that they can remain this competitive in the long run.
