Make that ONE turnover in the Villanova game that the refs covered over for them. Receiver standing tall as a tree fumbles the football and ONE mysterious ref rules he was down. Even the Villanova offense started off the field. Can't say my team has never gotten a "homer" in the playoffs but HC has every right to be upset. 7pts. off the board and the momentum swing...?

Maybe I should have titled the thread "Turnover Extravaganza and Terrible Officiating"

The CAA refs in the ASU SCSU game were horrendous

There's the box score...

5 fumbles for EIU (say 4, one was BS that everyone knew the runner was down) and 1 INT
1 Fumble and 1 INT (in the end zone no less) for SIU.

Certainly was a major game changer. It would have been 14-14 and we would have had the ball, instead Nova scores 2 plays later.

Interesting tidbit, 6 of the turnovers from the ASU-SCSU game were of the - back to back variety.

it was sickening to watch us take it away and then give it right back so many times... did our guys use crisco instead of stickum?
