Well, I looked at my photos and watched the replay and he hurt his hand on one of those runs right when the 2nd quarter started and right after Derrick's TD was called back. So he played 3/4th's of the UCA game with his hand hurt.

But still, do you see fans of the other teams in the playoff posting here what players on their team are banged up for their games? New Hampshire has some players banged up but their fans aren't making message strings about them.

Well, I asked about this in another thread. It's apparently been in the news media around Lake Charles. As I wrote in the other thread my brother said he read/heard that Pendland has a cast on his hand and that Coach Viator was quoted as saying he doesn't see how a running back can play with a cast on his hand. I think he said it was in the newspaper but in any case it he was talking about a media report. So it's not like it's a big secret or anything.
