Perhaps this would be a good time to mention that his spacesuit was built in Frederica, Delaware? :D

A good Citadel man would have found a way to wear his band of gold outside of his spacesuit so everyone could see it.
Go Bulldogs!

Good to see a Citadel alum in space, serving our country in that capacity.........hell, one day a VMI alum may become an astronaut (even UR has an alum who has flown on the Shuttle).

Welcome to Abigail Mae Bresnik, future Citadel cadet - who can say that her dad was in space when she was born!

We salute those brave astronauts. Every trip can be their last and they put their lives on the line to help America and the World.
Also, Ronald McNair, (R.I.P.) was a NCA&T Graduate.

Maybe we'll have an App guy in space, although it likely won't be on purpose. xsmiley_wix

I was in Band Company with Randy. In fact, he was one of my cadre corporals.
One of my buddies who was close with Randy said that his face sure looks better than he remembered...lol.
I read an article about him and some of his contemporaries in the Smithsonian magazine, and there is a good possibility that he will be heavily involved in the upcoming moon program. Heavily involved, as in "boots on the moon" involved.

I knew you guys were looking for a team you could beat but when you start looking in outer space you know there's a problem lol
all kidding aside I'm an Air Force Lt myself and Citadel grads make outrageously good officers in my experience, definitely on par with Academy grads
