HC played very hard, and had a bad break in the questionable fumble by nova. Randolph could play for any FCS schools and many BCS schools the way he played today. Half of the in completions were drops. The overall difference was a slight speed and strength advantage Nova had, however the HC O line played a great game - 0 sacks allowed.

Worst officiated game I've ever seen in my life. There were two pass interference penalties called while HC was driving, on both of which i happened to be looking directly at. On one of the PI penalties, the Villanova defender it was called on was at least five yards away from the receiver and it was an uncatchable ball anyways. There was also an illegal substitution penalty for something that was happening all game by both teams and has happened every game this entire year without any laundry on the field. It wasn't the number of penalties called, it was the sheer vulgarity of some that were called (I also thought HC's tackles were lining up illegally the entire game, but that's besides the point.)

I think it's safe to say that PL folks have resigned themselves to moral victories.

I actually figured it'd be nice this year if there was some recognition of a good season and decent showing from the PL champ rather than lamentations over their legitimacy and ability that has been seen in recent season

The fact is that losing in the 1st round regularly isn't good enough, shouldn't be good enough, but quite frankly is all the League has accomplished post-2003. Getting sent to a seeded team is a tough draw for anyone (at least our league rep didn't give up 61 points xeekx), but the League has been stagnent for several years now. What can be done to change that reality? And are those steps we as a League are willing to take?
