I must admit to not knowing much about WSU except that they have a great passing game, but our front four is going to give them fits. Adrian Tracy is filthy good and seems to be in the QB's face almost every down. Ask UNH's Roman. He spent a good deal of the W&M-UNH game on his backside.

I also don't see WSU stopping RB Jonathan Grimes. Those two factors should be enough for the Tribe to pull out a close one. Looking forward to it!

Hope I'm wrong about at least one of those but if I just be objective and say what I think will happen more probably than not in each case that's how I see it. Hopefully the Southland will at some point start doing better than it's been doing in the tournament in recent years but I don't have any reason to believe that's going to happen this time around. Right now I'm looking at the two Southland teams as the 14th and 15th strongest in the field. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Just an open question to any of those picking Weber, why? Not saying you're wrong, just curious as to your reasoning.

xrolleyesx We expect NOTHING less from you John. Hopefully you will make the drive to watch your predicted beat down of the Cowboys by UNH.

I think it conforts John to always pick us to lose. That way if we do he didn't get his hopes up too much and isn't as disappointed. xeyebrowx xlolx

I've seen Weber play, and I travel for a living. I've seen Villanova play. Weber is balanced. Stop the run, 350 yards passing. Stop the pass, 250 yards rushing. They're a really good team. 7-4 with two FBS losses. If it weren't for the state of Montana, they'd be undefeated in the Big Sky. W&M is in for a game!

I've seen posts with goofy asides before, but this might take the cake. Scratching my head still. Wished I could have fixed it for you but I didn't know what to do.

The Jackrabbits run Montana ragged, but the home field advantage sticks.

The Lumberjacks face an air raid, successfully pulled off by Eastern Washington.

The fortunes of the Phoenix turn to ashes, and Richmond begins its defense of the title.

The Bulldogs are not stubborn enough to prevent a victory by Appalachian State, setting up a quarterfinal made-for-TV.

The Crusade somehow fails to convert anyone at Villanova.

The Cowboys are shredded by New Hampshire.

Panthers of any stripe show themselves unable to deal with Southern Illinois this year.

The Wildcats face jet lag, and a team too tough to handle in William and Mary.

Webers running back Trevyn Smith is probably the best back I have seen at this level next to Brian Westbrook from 'Nova a while back. Smith is so fast and so shifty he looks like he runs on ice. He's so hard to hit and when he does get hit he doesn't go down. Stop him and all you have is a QB and WR core that will light up the score board. To beat Weber you have to outscore them in a shootout, they are really balanced. I think that's why people are picking them. They can be beat but they're hard to slow down and it will be high scoring.
