Similar to nobowls and sticking to regionalization...

Seeds: Villanova(1) Richmond(4) - for regionalization
...........Montana(2) Southern Illinois(3) - the UNI loss hurts; EWU & Weber in helps

Holy Cross @ Villanova (1)
William & Mary @ Appalachian St.

Elon @ Richmond(4)
New Hampshire @ South Carolina St - SCSU for the $; and reduces % of rematches

Stephen F. Austin @ Montana(2)
Eastern Washington @ South Dakota St.

Eastern Illinois @ Southern Illinois(3)
Weber St @ McNeese St - could flip the visitors to the non-seeds

This seems like the best budget bracket which is what the NCAA seems to look for. xlolx

I have the exact same "pods" except my seeds are in a different order. I have VU & Montana as the 2-3 and SIU and Richmond 1-4.

I don't think they'll regionalize the semis - seems silly since there's no way of knowing who will be playing after two rounds.

I also believe UNH will be in Richmond's pod for these reasons:
1) Only matchup of the "CAA four" that didn't play this year
2) Of the rematches, VU & W&M would be the least recent
3) The standings of those four teams in "group play" was VU 2-1, UR 1-1, UNH 1-1, W&M 1-2.

Switch the W&M and App State game with the UNH and SCSU game, and I think you are right.

I doubt the committee wants App playing the #1 seed in the second round assuming both win.
