Liberty fans must be kicking themselves.

If E Wash wins they're in over UNI. Weber is about to win. A 7-4 Weber is more deserving than a 7-4 UNI in my opinion. UNI didn't beat anybody, and just lost to a mediocre team to end the season. Them getting in over Weber would be a travesty. The Big Sky is a tougher conference than the MVFC this year.

Basically, with 5 minutes left and down 13-16, UNI drove down the field, and on 3rd and 10 threw a pick. ISU ran the ball every down and got nowhere, but milked a couple minutes off the clock. A high snap to the punter, he barely got it off but shanked it... only went 10 yards or so, giving UNI the ball back on the ISU 35 about. UNI scored a TD on 3rd and 10 with 68 seconds left. ISU drove down the field, and after their last timeout, scored a TD from from 5 yards out with only a second or so left. Kneel down instead of the PAT, game set match.

Too bad EKU lost. It would have thrown a lot of interesting possibilities into the mix along with the simple fact a 6-5 team made it into the playoffs.

I think the las team to do that was montana state.

EKU would have probably come to ASU in the 1st round (nice old school rivalry). Southern Ill would suddenly be playing somebody other than EIU...maybe New Hampshire...
