Gonna be an interesting off season (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/acc/2009-11-17-bowden_N.htm) in Tallahassee. A possible ACC title game appearance turns into a 7-6 season at best. xnonono2x

It's sad when a legend can't see the end of the line. xnodx

If I'm Bobby Bowden I'm telling that b**** to keep her mouth shut, honestly. She's not the head coach and doesn't have to deal with what she spits out publicly.

Terry Bowden go deep in the D2 playoff's, Florida state won't have to worry about seeing a Bowden prowling the sideline.
I'll bet anything if Bowden Sr. coaches next year, Terry will be the next Florida state coach the year after.
I honestly believe that's why he came back into coaching after all these years at this time because he knew pop and Florida State was about to call it a carear soon.

Jimbo Fisher has already been named Head Coach in waiting. They would owe him a pile of money if they didnt follow the succession plan. Also Jimbo is a hot commodity so I doubt he would still be at FSU if he didnt feel confident he will take over.

Not sure of that is a great decision, but FSU made the commitment

I heard on College gameday one weekend that a lot of people down there don't like this appointment.
Do they want to just clean out the entire "Bowden" mentality and start fresh like Florida did when Steve Spurrier left?

That is what I have gathered as well. How much of it all is Jimbo already controlling and it isn't getting any better.

Ya, they need to clean house.
Its not just Bowden its Andrews, Amatto, and the rest of the staff. They are all really old-- no way those guys are as hungry or energetic as a young and up and coming staff.

Jimbo doesn't control that much, there are at least 5 coaches with head coach some where in their title. Bobby still makes the big decisions, watch a game and see who grabs the headsets on a big 4th down. Bobby's gonna pick the new DC with Jimbos input taken into consideration, that should tell you who runs the show.
