Yes, they do. I have to believe that if he were more interested in the NFL, Tyler Emmert's name would be somewhere around that list. An article in the Missoulian last week alluded to the fact that he doesn't expect to get much of a chance, so he isn't spending lots of energy on the draft.

I think it's safe to say it's a fairly weak class of QB's for the draft this year. No knock on anyone in particular, but there's even been people questioning how good Leinart will be. Maybe 2 QB's in the first round, maybe.

I think that list changes alot if Young or Quinn come out. As a Notre Dame fan, I hope that Quinn doesn't come out, but even Young could make a difference.

Chad Motte as a top 30 NFL Draft Prospect? He is an OL on a triple option Team that displays no sense of blocking in the NFL. Ryan Gibbons isnt on that list nor are anybody else from the A10. Gibbons is predicted to go 4th -7th round. That list is completely southern biased and def isnt a true sense of top 30. Break it down by position id like to see what its really about. The QB from TEXAS STATE SHOULD BE IN THE TOP 5 and hes not even on the list!

I think you have to include Jeff Bolton from MSU. He plays OG or C. I think he will be a Centerif he gets drafted. It seemed to suit him the best all season.

Great Post Kevin Boothe would be a great mid- to late round draft pick this April, he has the tools to be a solid offensive lineman in the NFL. I also feel that Gocong from Cal Poly is the best pro-prospect from I-AA.

meh, it's just one guy's opinion. mel kiper has/had Nealy as a Top 5 QB and many other draft "experts" rate him higher than this guy (with this poll). so, all in all, everyone has an opinion. no one will know for sure until draft day.

however, i am glad to see that Evans is gettin some love.

I wish Cletis well. If he is gonna play corner he needs to learn how to tackle and he will have to bulk up. Even though he didn't have much sucess against Grambling this year he has the tools, not sure about his desire. He may need to be a receiver or return punts. Good luck Cletis.

Cletis has been playing the "GOOD SOILDER" the last 2 years.

Through all the BS, every time the sportscasters would interview him, he never showed a "down attitude". Never raised his voice, complained, whinned.........none of that. :nono:

He was the leader.

His desire is there, but you saw how Bell was using him. He didn't know what position he would be playing from week to week.

Caught 2 td passes and a punt return for a TD in one game. The next week, Bell didn't use him 1 down on offense. That's the way his entire season went but yet he still maintained.

NFL Draft Scout. To get a real idea what the NFL is thinking, look at the combine invites, they are picked by only NFL guys and are offered to those who they feel have the best shot at making an NFL team, and obviously some of them don't. But when was the last time a QB was drafted that wasn't invited? For whatever reason, Nealy has been left out. I think Kiper, to a certain extent, is out in left field by himself making his draft calls.

Mel Kiper Jr. mentioned Bruce Eugene and Barrick Nealy on ESPN Radio this morning. He basically said that those players would be solid alteratives to Marcus Vick.

I am not saying at all that Nealy and Eugene are not good NFL prospects. Actually, I think Nealy would be one hell of a WR at the next level. But, I could see him getting a shot at QB. He has the raw talent.

Two small school talents showed that they could play with the big boys on Saturday. Cal Poly DE Chris Gocong and Texas Southern LB Fredericc Brock had impressive games. Gocong has been a dominant pass rush force at the D1-AA level the past two seasons, finishing with 41 sacks over the past two seasons. He was a consistent force off the edge during the game, showing the agility and athleticism to beat the tackle off the edge, and the speed to close to make the play. Brock has excellent size for a linebacker and was active all over the field. He was around the action everywhere, whether stopping the run or covering backs and tight ends out in the flat.

Don't forget about Colston from Hofstra...

While Howard was the most productive, the best player on the East side was Hofstra WR Marques Colston. Colston has tremendous size for the WR position, and has excellent body control. He knows how to use his size, and his ability to go up and get the ball is very impressive. He had five catches for 82 yards and a touchdown on the game, and came within a yard of winning the game for the East with eight seconds left. He caught a jump ball at the one yard line and gave his team one more shot to win the game, but the East was stopped at the two and the game was over. Colston may have improved his stock as much as anyone in this game. His size and body control are definitely NFL caliber. If he can post some impressive workout numbers, he will be a big riser come April.
