The article talked about oday having association with the Big Sky but also on the NCAA Committee. I have heard people who have associations with various confrences and on the committee say they excuse themselves when this conflict arrives. I wonder how many realy do this.

Pretty sure, but not certain, that they have to. I think they are allowed to debate for their team/conference, but cannot be in the room when the actual vote is taken.
