What do you know?
We win, pretty handily, and remain undefeated, yet we drop.
#3 seed, here we come!

App is a good team peaking at the right time but even with that said - no way do they deserve 3 first place votes. The 6th slot is probably about right however.

App St and SC State each got 1st place votes huh?

Apparently voters read this board, based on the Griz dropping...

Why would you say that? Polls are opinions and I think it is not much of a stretch for someone to believe that at the moment we are the best in the FCS.

I don't have a problem with being ranked behind Nova and SIU, both have legitimately claims to be #1, as do we. I just don't understand how we can drop a spot when we easily handled Northern Colorado and Nova easily dispatched an equally bad team (worse if you're going by Sagarin numbers) in Towson. The Griz did what they were supposed to, and were still jumped. I don't see anything in either of those results that would make voters change their mind.
The Griz lost 19 first place votes from last week despite winning by 4 touchdowns... Oh well, if we beat the Cats I'm sure we'll gain some back.

All of the polls are messed up this week. The top three should have stayed where they were the week before. Griz should be second in this poll, SIU should be first in the coaches. xsmhx

Lots of voters have the Griz 5th or 6th to have that many 1st place votes and yet be 3rd overall..

Don't look now, but we're only 53 votes behind SIU. A good win over a formidable UD team, coupled with a narrow Saluki win over SE MO St. might have us leap frogging SIU.

So now that it's convenient for Nova, Delaware is formidable? xlolx
Why don't you go on over to GoHens and let everyone know you think Delaware is now formidable, after you've bashed us for the better part of two years.
Can't wait to watch the "formidable" Hens spoil your seed on Saturday.

Well, truth be told, he did pick us for 3 wins this year, so being at 6 wins right now we've greatly exceeded his expectations and thus, may appear to be formidable. xlolx

I have a feeling that some of the voters in all three polls who had Montana higher than SIU moved SIU above Montana this week, due to SIU's 20 point win over a six win Misourri State team.
That would be my guess.

Don't expect a narrow Saluki win. SEMO is a bad team and SIU should dominate this game handily from the outset.
