I understand that. Hauck should have told him to just punt the ball. Period. We left points on the field and allowed an easy three for MSU.

I guarantee neither side is happy with the first half. The Cats QB play left a lot to be desired. Hauck's stubborn nature on that "and goal" situation where the Cats stopped Reynolds 4 times from inside the 5 cost the Griz at least 3 points.

Honestly I think the poor decision was not to go for it, but to run it to the outside. Every one of the plays before netted at least a yard, and we only needed one more foot. I really think we would have gotten in if he just powered up the middle one more time.

I disagree, but that is ok gbh. Nobody has had success running the ball against the Cats in the red zone this year at all. Granted, I know the Griz have a great running game, but that is the teeth of the Cats defense.

You mean on fourth? Cause he got back to the line on fourth. Even if he hadn't have gotten much at all, I would definitely not say he didn't get the inch required for a first. The line had a good push.

As long as the Griz take care of the ball, I don't think MSU has enough offense to win. Should be plenty of touches for Reynolds, hopefully most of them in the fourth quarter.

What an oddball game there in the first half. I don't think I've ever seen the score at 2-2, or even 5-2. The griz did what everyone not on AGS thought they would, which was come out in the second half and roll. Can't wait until tomorrow.

As a side note, I'd like to commend the Cat fans who were sitting directly around me. These people were courteous, joked a lot, and made the game in Bozeman an awesome experience. I would like to however inquire as to why the stadium by and large, when the score wasn't going their way, couldn't even clap as their injured players were getting up and being helped off of the field? I found that to be a bit odd.
