Texas 0 Early in the 2nd quarter.

I would assume that Texas will come back and win this one going away, but this type of start has to be troubling for Longhorn fans, luckily the Big XII is down this year so they can probably get away with slow starts in the rest of their conference games, but they are certainly making a habit out of looking bad to start games.

Iowa in big trouble once again. Stanzi is still out with about 10 minutes left in the 4th trailing 17-10 to Northwestern.

Michigan is also losing to Purdue 38-31. I think there might be an official Rich Rod watch going.

Navy 21-7 going into the 4th. Navy on its own 1.

Think Clausen just got (literally) knocked out of the game as he fumbled on the Navy 1 on a nice run. Interestingly enough Notre Dame only has 1 QB available from the roster. How is that possible?

Edit: Looks like he is back in. May not have been knocked out otherwise he would not have gone in on the next series.

Stanford is up on Oregon 31-14 at halftime. As someone who has seen both teams in person this season it really isn't surprising, Stanford is awfully good on offense, that Andrew Luck kid is very very good.

Golden Domers just gave up a safety to Navy. Middies lead 23-14 with a minute left, Domers have the ball.

NBC play-by-play guys are talking about Domers' bowl eligibility. The NCAA could do a lot to improve their credibility by cancelling the NBC-Domer contract.

Late TD by Domers after good play on on-side kick after the safety. 23-21 Middies with 24 seconds left.

Middies recovered on-side kick after touchdown, took a knee to end the game. Final score 23-21.

Interesting factoid about Domers' successful on-side kick. The ball went out of bounds without anyone getting control of it. That meant that the Domers "retain possession" on the play.

One of the lesser known differences between Canadian and four-down rules is, with Canadian rules, possession goes to the team that touched the ball last before it went out of bounds. In a situation like this, the smart play would be to bat the ball out of bounds, instead of trying to catch the ball or fall on it. (It was a Navy player who touched it last on this play.)
