Darn UNH, denying us a sweep at #7 in all the polls. *shakes fist*

Why does Delaware have more points (81) than Lafayette (74) and are still behind them in the polls?

Maybe we need to invite him to come up and tailgate with us this Saturday night so he can "Fan the Flames".

Sorry, but I'm starting to actually believe their is a conspiracy against NEC teams. Can someone explain this?

Not sure if it's a conspiracy - it's a matter of finding common opponents to have some yardstick to compare a team to. Outside of the NEC, Central Connecticut has played: 2-6 Lehigh (win); William & Mary (Loss); and 2-5 Columbia (win). I think most AGS readers would recognize the win over Albany and reward you for it (and yes, will agree that that makes it easier to rank you over Butler).

The main issue with all polls is that you have two types of voters - voters who reward a body of work (and who will overemphasize wins) vs. those that reward teams based on a more fuzzy feeling of how "good" they feel the team is (e.g., those that voted ASU high in the fourth and fifth weeks despite having a mediocre record vs. a very tough schedule). Neither approach is wrong, but it helps explain a lot of the frankly bizarre voting you see in the polls (both in FCS and FBS, I would add!)

Yes.

There is obvious, ongoing, over-the-top love for the PFL.

You see that love expressed here on AGS every day!

It is something that you'll have to accept. The NEC will never get the respect and adoration that is bestowed upon the PFL.
