Portland State vs Eastern Washington

Kickoff scheduled for 1 pm PDT at Seattle's Quest Field. The Viking and Eagles meet in a Big Sky Conference matchup. This will be the first time ever that the Vikings have played a conference game on a neutral field. The last time they played on a neutral field was the 1988 DII Championship game. The Eagles are without star receiver Aaron Boyce, but still have Matt Nichols at quarterback and the speedster, Taiwan Jones, a converted running back. Drew Hubel practiced on Thursday for the first time since he suffered his knee injury against Northern Colorado and is expected to start. The Vikings offense experience their two worst yardage performances in the last two contests without Hubel. I did not do my homework on the configurations of Quest Field so I do not know if it has a roof on it. The weather in Seattle is possible showers and highs in the mid 50's.

I don't think so, although he is in the last year of his contract. For what he does for the school, for the positive publicity he gives to the school, I don't think we could do any better. Also, for as many true freshmen we've been playing all year, I'm pretty sure he will be given at least another year.
