I can understand Richmond and Montana (and to a lesser extent, SIU and Nova) getting first place votes, but SCSU? Someone who does this for a living really believes they are the best team in the division?

RHODE ISLAND??????? They have 14 more votes than JMU and 24 more than they should have. That is the biggest JOKE i have every seen. Did they mix them up with Northeastern??? They had a big win against a top CAA foexreadx
JMU and ODU would be a good game right about now.

I don't even bother reading 1-25... I start immediately at the ORV. Comic relief for the day.
Rhode Island 24, Brown 23, Grambling 23, Tennessee State 20, Northern Colorado 15, Jacksonville 10, Lehigh 5, Drake 4.... xlolx

All jokes aside, why should we be concerned about the orv section of the polls. You all do realize that the voters are going to be homers and vote for their conference? Wrong or right, they do it and it doesn't seem it would change. All polls are subjective and will have bias, whether east-coast, west-coast, hbcu, pwc etc...
Now back to the jokes:
1. Good Job Rhode Island! xlolx
2. And to that voter for SC State in 1st place, kudos, xlolx kudos! xlolx

... and that is sad. If you are going to vote in the poll you need to be objective as possible. Does anyone really think that SC St. is a #1 team? No bashing and I think they are a good team but #1....stretching a little don't you think?

I don't know if bluehenbillk is playing a joke on us or if they've changed it, but Rhode Island isn't in the ORV on the site.

Seriously? Becuase it shows a lot of their voters are complete idiots or jerks that don't take it seriously. You don't think if I voted for...
1. Richmond
2. Montana
3. Lehigh
4. Southern Illinois
5. Jacksonville
etc...
that would compromise the results?

Still has JMU getting votes while my self-destructing Hofstra team that beat them is now off the list. ORV is always a good laugh though. Maybe they were shamed into removing URI, that really made me go xeekx

One thing I could suggest to the SN Poll is they start doing the ORV's like AGS does. 1-25 are strictly points, but ORV's only make the list if they are on at least 5 ballots. So if one person votes Rhode Island at #2... they wouldn't even appear on AGS where on SN they'd appear with 24 points. xpeacex

Could have been an honest mistake. Maybe it was a number 2 vote for UR, not URI.
Edit: Yep...the number of points for UR also went up by 24 on the new list.

Coulson and the lack of an audit has single handedly taken himself to the joke of the FCS poll world. First of all TSN's poll has been around for more than a year and already the CS.com poll has had less trouble getting one out than he does. This is now his second retraction because his poll looks like 13 people throw a dart a wall and everyone else uses some form of Ouigi board/tarot cards/knowledge (no offense to the knowledgeable voters that take part)

The only "questionable" parts of this poll are Colgate even being in the poll & South Carolina State being 4-6 spots too high.

The TSN top 25 isn't horrendous, but when you see the OVR's it takes away from the validity of the Top 25 itself.
In the back of my mind I know there is someone out there that is voting for teams like Butler and Lehigh. That makes what could otherwise be a decent poll look downright silly.
