Dartmouth defeated Columbia Saturday, 28-6, behind 242 rushing yards from sophomore tailback Nick Schwieger. Find a 3-minute video that shows just how good it feels to break a 17-game losing streak here (http://biggreenalertblog.blogspot.com/2009/10/gorgeous-day.html).

That may be tough but they played in the preseason and the Schwieger kid had 101 yards in the first half - not counting a 50-yard run that was called back. He he can run like that, you never know.

I would be incredibly surprised if Dartmouth beat Harvard, just kind of a crazy pipe dream.

Nice video. When Columbia had its 44-game losing streak back in the 80s, Princeton was its first victim.xreadx Looks like Princeton will lose to Dartmouth this year, too.

I remember when Colgate lost 16 straight over three seasons, 1994-96. When we finally beat Brown to snap the streak, it was joyous.

Very odd... what's the story behind that? I don't see the Green pouring money into other sports.
