Temple is currently blowing out a solid Toledo team, 40-17 in the 4th quarter. We're about 10 minutes away from being 5-2 on the season and 4-0 and all alone on top of the MAC East standings. This has been an amazing season for the Owls that hasn't gotten enough attention.

They should move up to the CAA. The MAC isn't helping them reach their full potential.

That loss against Villanova was painful. I'd forfeit a bowl bid to play the Wildcats again. We handed them that game.

The MAC is not very good this year top to bottom but CMU, Temple, Ohio and NIU are solid FBS teams. The bottom of the MAC is really really bad.

It's a final!! Temple 40 Toledo 24

Temple has won at least 5 games for the first time since 1990. We also won 5 straight for the first time since 1979 when we finished 10-2 and beat Cal in the Garden State Bowl.

Slowly but surely they're turning things around up there. I always kept a curious eye on the Temple program as they always seemed to be the college football doormat.

Always good to see teams turn it around.

As long as the MAC continues it's downward spiral, Temple will have success there. Has the MAC been this bad anywhere in the recent past? Historically awful this year. Golden's made some nice strides, but the best move Temple made was to get into the MAC when they did. They're not much better than they've ever been, but now the get to play patsies week in and week out - makes for a much more cosmetic record.
