UMass is a very good team, the weather and a determined Spider squad were to much for them today. In fairness to the UMass QB's not only were they running for their lives on most pass plays the wet ball and slippery field made it tough on both teams.

Good luck to the Minutemen the rest of the way, hope you make the playoffs! If not we'll see you on the hardwood for sure.

Congratulations Richmond. We threw the ball away and although our D was up to the challenge, we did not play disciplined football as a team and Richmond was the better team.

Word on the street is that UVA likes Louisiana Tech head coach and AD (and UVA grad and former player) Derek Dooley, the son of former Georgia coach Vince Dooley. Of course that's if Groh finally gets canned. I would be first in line to recommend him for the job!!
