Late FG Give Lumberjacks Huge Road win

Austin a 33-30 victory over Central Arkansas, capping a wild flurry of momentum swings in the final two minutes and giving the Lumberjacks a 2-0 start to the Southland Conference football race.

Engwall’s game-winner came after Central Arkansas had scored 10 points in the final 1:09 of the game to tie the score at 30-30.

But given one more chance with the football, SFA made it count.

Well, maybe my Cowboys shot themselve in the foot plenty, but I thought SFA was improved on defense this year, and was totally focused on getting the "W". Pendland wasn't doing a lot before his groin pull. I picked UCA to win and SFA rose to the challenge again. So until SFA bursts their bubble, I say they are the real deal. At least they let J.C. have long enough to apparently turn things around in the pines and flowers.
