I don't keep up with FBS and yes Florida had a bad game they should have lost yesterday, but who has Bama beaten that is close Florida's victory over LSU. xconfusedx

I think Florida's win over LSU and Bama's neutral site victory over Virginia Tech are fairly comparable (at Baton Rouge is a better win, but not by a whole lot). I think Alabama is playing better than Florida so far this season and at this point deserves to be #1.

Florida hasn't played about the same level of competition as Alabama but hasn't lived up to expectations at all. No one has come within 10 points of Bama whereas Florida's last 2 opponents stayed within 10 and gave them a fight. Bama has played more ranked opponents and has played better against them

OK I'll take your word for it cuz I don't keep up. I was impressed with Bama's defense last night even though it was against South Carolina's offensexsmiley_wix

LSU was and is vastly overrated this year. While a nice win for Florida, it's good not to give them too much credit for it. Florida really should've lost yesterday - Arkansas's kicker makes that kick and if some bad calls don't go against Arkansas, and Florida would be sitting here today with 1 loss.
All of it means little, though, it'll come down to 'Bama/Florida in the SEC title game, with the winner going on to play someone in the BCS title game.

Virginia Tech and they destroyed Arkansas and Ole Miss. I think Arkansas is probably better than LSU and Ole Miss may be, but probably not.

Alabama and florida will meet in december in the second championship game so it really doesn't matter who is ranked 1 or 2. Right now I feel like alabama is the best team in the country. Noone has dominated the way bama has done all year.

I don't see the Gators winning the title, they haven't won one undefeated. They'll drop a game at some point.

I would agree but their schedule is weak for the rest of the year

well there's always the match up in Atlanta, South Carolina has played them close with worse teams and you never know what Georgia will do.

The better team will be settled in the SEC championship game anyway. I don't see any other teams besides these two making it to the SEC championship.
