It's more inexperience than injury IMO, but it doesn't help when 2 possible All-Socon players get hurt, not to mention the Flu, players getting hurt and out period.

I don't fault Ayers for our strart. I thought we actually looked much better today and played with good intensity for 3 quarters. We let this one and the GSU games slip thru our young paws. Our D stayed on the field a lot today because our O was scoring so quickly. However, I am concerned about our complete lack of pass defense and 10 yard buffers by our corners. Also not sure going for it on 4th and 8 on App's 31 when a FG would have put us up 2 scores made much sense?

Hopefully, we'll continue to improve as the season progresses. Next week Western.

WoCo is strong - that wingbone still gave us fits. We were lucky to escape Sparkle City alive today - very tough game. Big cudos to a very accomodating, classy WoCo fanbase and a tough team xthumbsupx They are better than their record shows.
