What if we played it in, say Tokyo, in order to raise awareness for the game overseas. The NFL does it with its annual London games.

When my team makes it back to the title game, I want to be able to go and I want as many other fans of the team to be able to go as well. Same concept for any two teams. -unicat87

I didn't realize Tokyo was Cuba and they don't allow visitors? You could easily fly out to Tokyo and see two teams not named UNI play in the title game.

This guy is either a glaringly obvious troll, or there really is someone this dumb in the world.
Holy god.

if Elon makes the championship game, how many of your fans do you think are going to take a week and spend $2000 to fly to Tokyo to watch the game?

can we as CAA fans drive there? Maybe Toronto would be a better option

That's a better option than Tokyo, for sure. Rogers Centre (Skydome) is a fine venue. I still like Chattanooga, but it could be real cold in January there. -unicat87 :)

enhances the game around the world, creates more exposure. those 2 reasons are enough to justify it

How about Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (cap 20k) in Antigua? It's closer to most FCS teams by almost 8000 miles, the weather should be pleasant in Jan. and they have wading pools along the sidelines for fans!

I could care less if the game has exposure in Japan, if they want to watch football they should start a league.

enhances the game around the world, creates more exposure. those 2 reasons are enough to justify it
1. There is no major college football throughout the world.
2. It will get circus support, not championship support from fans who know nothing about the game.
3. There are no plans to expand college football throughout the World.
4. Why would you play the "NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP" in an "INTERNATIONAL VENUE"-- who wins besides this enhancing the game garbage you speak of?
5. The travel is awful-- I played Friendship games in baseball when I was younger in Tawain and Tokyo...and it takes a toll on the body
6. Cost issues-- you are penalizing the fans who keep the budgets of schools alive.
I mean I can go on...and you are entitled to your "Statement", but it was not fully thought out by you.

I could care less if the game has exposure in Japan, if they want to watch football they should start a league. They actually already have a professional league, and a college football league.
Football in Japan is less popular than:
Soccer
Baseball
Basketball
Golf
Tennis
Rugby
Ping Pong
Badminton
Fishing
Tiddlywinks xlolx
As much as I'd like it moved there for purely selfish reasons...
The National Championship game should not be moved outside the US. Period.

Agreed, but for meaningless bowl games, that's a pretty good venue if you ask me.
