Does Manuel always overmanage like this? I have never seen so many pitching changes in 1 inning with only 2 runs scored.
That said, none should have scored but for Utley's error.

Just one horrible 'flukin' loss. As I said on the 'Chollie' thread, one thing to get beat, another to give away. Can effect the psyche. Someone needs to give Chase a kick in the ass. Yes, he's a hard player and I love him on this team, but every now and then, a player gets a mental cramp and needs a kick.

Looks like this was a tough loss for the Phillies . . . but wow, what a start from Pedro!

Pedro was amazing. Hindsight says he should have come out for the 8th, but understandably, he was due up in the 8th so they pinch hit with the hope of tacking another run or two on. Well, let's just do the sweep in Philly!xnodx

Yeah, hate to waste a great game by Pedro but we need to get it together. LA - have fun in cool, overcast Philly October baseball.

Bummer - just gave that game away. First Feliz doesn't get a ground ball he would get 99 other times out of 100, then the guy for the Dodgers puts down an awful sacrifice bunt that is so bad that it ends up being a great bunt and everyone is safe. And then Utley just butchers another DP turn. None of those things happen, and at the worse the Phils go into the 9th tied. Just flat out blew that game. The series is back on and now the Phils need to absolutely win 2 out of 3 at home.

Just a terrible loss. Here's hoping they leave that crap on the west coast and come out charged up on Sunday.
Worst part about tonight was that I watched the second half of the game at a restaurant bar at the beach and the first wave of Yankees fans had started to trickle in and were being, well, Yankees fans. Grrrrrrrr. I really hope we get a crack at those bastards in a week and a half.

The Dodgers have been opportunistic like that the whole year. give them a little credit, too. Padilla and the rest of the Dodgers pitching did a great job keeping it close. There was a reason Los Angeles had the best record in the NL this season.

Just goes to show you that GOD himself has a West Coast Bias.
