I thought I saw this somewhere. A stat that showed the teams with the most wins in the playoffs per appearance.

Anyone remember this?

I don't know to what site you refer, but the Griz are 27-17 all-time in the I-AA/FCS playoffs in 19 appearances, for 1.42 wins per appearance.

They are 25-14 in their current 16-straight-years playoff run, for 1.56 wins per appearance.

Probably Georgia Southern or Youngstown or Marshall

Or someone like Idaho State who fluked into a championship run

I know for a long time, SIU was 4-0 in playoff games with 4.0 wins per appearance.

UMass has to be up there. 10 wins in 6 appearances (and two of the appearances with first round exits were much earlier).

Imagine that, UNI is the highest total per appearance without a NC!
