I'm thinking 49-14, Michigan. Rodriguez calls off the dogs in the second half. Also depends on whether that young Michigan QB (Forcier) can play.

Michigan is looking a little banged up from the Iowa game. With some of their key players, including their QB Forcier. They just might rest their starters against us to heal up for the Penn State game next week.

#12 Iowa
Delaware State
#14 Penn State

We were set up as the "trap game", but since they lost to Iowa by only 2 points, who knows what could happen.

I'm not saying that we will win...that would be insane. But I think that he'll try to protect his starters for next week and that will give us an opportunity to put some points on the board. (DSU hasn't been shut out in over five yerars, 57 straight games)

Word is that its potentially almost as bad as Bradford's injury from Oklahoma.
But some UM fans feel that its a cover for his "poor play" in the Iowa game. xlolx

My take, he'll sit this game and they'll have Denard (their backup QB) start against us.

Here's Delaware Online's picks:

Delaware State at Michigan, noon Saturday I'm not going to pick a score here, but Irish Jack believes the Hornets will score two touchdowns and at least one field goal. Don't think Hornets will be intimidated by the Wolverine players, but they aren't used to playing in a stadium that holds 100,000 hostile fans.

Delaware at Towson, 3:30 p.m. Saturday This one should be easy. Hens had better win, with James Madison, Hofstra, Navy and Villanova to follow. Delaware 41, Towson 13.

Got in to the hotel at around 1:30am. 11 hour drive because I took a way that avoided all tolls. Actually ran into some snow around State College, PA. I'm staying at the Baymont near the Detroit airport. Best rate I could find. Nice rooms, but no fridge. (They will allow u to bring ur cooler in tho xthumbsupx) Should get to the stadium around 11am for the game. Temps are to be in the mid 40s for game time. Noon start time will help. Will hopefully get a lot of pictures from the game today. The game will be on the Big Ten Network as well. So you just might see me there.

Del State looks like they're running on fly paper. The speed difference is apparent. Two drives, no first downs for the Hornets.

Wolverines had an easy drive to make it 7-0 and have the ball again. Highlight of the game so far for DelState is their punter, who had a good one from the end zone out to the 45, then another from the 30 to the other 30.

No rispect to Delaware St. but I knd of hope Mich scores 100. These matchups are ridiculous. I love playing BCS games but against teams that we measure up with (e.g. Vandy, Duke, Wake, Stanford, etc.). This game makes no sense on any level.

This would be Rich Rodriguez's first win in October at Michigan. He's 0-6 so far.

Announcers also mentioned that Michigan couldn't get any FBS to play the game without having to agree to a home-and-home so they went to FCS. DelState was the third school they talked to after Maine and UMass declined.

I hear you. However, we've beaten Duke twice since 2006. I won't give you that one but certainly Wake, Vandy, and Stanford would probably handle us. These games makes sense because of geography, academics, etc. What does Del. St. have in common with Michigan? Is there a coaching connection?

Well, I did say that you beat Duke. But very few FCS teams could hang with them. Abouth the geography thing, I guess they wanted a team they coulkd smash so everyone would forget about App.St. Personally, I would have loved it if Michigan scheduled Towson. That would mean we played Northwestern AND Michigan, a pretty good line-up.

Just an embarrassment for DSU all together. They must be one broke school.

Might not be too much of a stretch. xlolx

As I was leaving the stadium one of the event staff thanked me for coming and said that only 13 DSU fans were in attendance. (I'm assuming that that number comes from official ticket sales from their ticket office.)

I knew I felt alone, but I was having a great time.

Wow! Sorry to hear you didn't have more company, but it still sounds like you had a great time. xthumbsupx I'm hoping to make the trip next year.

My camera battery died about an hour after the game. :(

But after we took some pics of the stadium and bought some souvenirs. We went to a place called "Tailgaters" right in Ann Arbor. Great crowd. Then my buddy and I met up with some girls and went into Detroit to check out the city. All in all it was a great trip and I'm glad that I went, disappointed with the DSU turnout. We were told that they were gonna send two buses up to the game, but apparently there was only 24 on one bus. The Michigan staffer I talked to said that they only sold 13 to DSU fans. There was one guy in my section right at the top who has a DSU hat on, but no RED xmadx :p

Great pics! Sorry again about the poor turnout. I'm going to try to make it next year, and I certainly hope we bring more than 13 fans . . .

You really should try too. I can guarantee that you"ll enjoy it. Especially if its your first time in the area. I'm gonna try to make a trip to a DSU road game once a year, most likely if its a major school (Texas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, etc.). We'll see what our schedule makers try to pull next year. I have a feeling that we're gonna have a 2-FBS season in 2010.

I agree I think everyone should hit a game like that, although for me it's always better when I don't have a dog in the fight.
