Here is an interesting exercise for the group. Rank the following Top-25 bubble teams* in order from 1-15.
*These teams were selected from conferences that do not have an AQ (Big South, Ivy, NEC, and SWAC), or those that have struggled recently in the playoffs (MEAC, OVC, and Patriot). I purposely left out teams from "power conferences."

Hard to see the PL getting an at large given their recent playoff history and lack of any real quality OOC win.

This isn't about ranking teams for the playoffs or for an at-large. In fact, I doubt any of these teams make the playoffs (except those eligible for an AQ).
I just wanted to see how people would rank these 15 specific teams based on their resume to date.
The main objective of the exercise is to see how posters think these 15 resumes compare to each other. I also wanted to see how this ranking may compare to actuall votes these teams may recieve in the Top-25 polls.

Interesting thing is, the way its starting to pan out, even with the CAA getting 5 teams in, the MVC/SoCon/BSC may get a total of 4-5 teams in which would leave 2 or 3 more spots open for some conferences that dont usually get at larges. I could see 2 or 3 of the SCSU or FAMU, or a Liberty, or a second OVC, Patriot or SLC team being in the picture. Despite the CAA juggernaut, we could see a more diverse playoff field than usual this year. It should be a very interesting next month and a half.

Why is EIU getting so many votes from AGS voters? And just wondering why you had Liberty fairly low on this list?

The only thing hurting Liberty is JMU. That loss looks worse and worse each week and may look really bad in about three weeks.
By winning they're doing what they're supposed to, but we're not helping their cause much.

Agree with you ace. I always see you bashing many of the teams ranked in the 15-25 range for being ranked that high. I'd love to see your top 25 because certainly someone has to fill these 11 slots. Of course, you don't have to, but I'd love to know where you have teams like SC State, FAMU, HC, Colgate, Albany, CCSU, etc.
