You need to do your research on Villanova's defense.
Our LB's are among the best in the COUNTRY with Osunde, Kirkland and Thomas.
The DB's are turnover city.
Intangibles? What is that even based on?

Here they are head to head...Villanova has had the tougher schedule so far. I think 'Nova beats UNH by 2 touchdowns. Ball State is horrible this year, I don't care if they are 1-A. I really would like to see UNH pull this one out..

Yeah, I think this is pretty homerish, personally. The only clearcut win for UNH is at TE. You're telling me a 2 start version of Kevin Decker or a Turf-Toe'd R.J. Toman is better than Chris Whitney? Czszur killed us last year, and ball was real good, too. Kackert's just back so at most it's even. I think 'Nova and UNH are probably evenly matched at this point but it's certainly not advantage for UNH.

My Keys to the Game (http://novafacts.blogspot.com/2009/10/keys-to-villanova-new-hampshire-game.html) I honestly think on a matchup basis, Villanova trumps New Hampshire pretty well, but you have the atmosphere advantage.

I never said that the Villanova's LB were very good. I just believe that Jackson and Ware are at least as good. Look at the stats for the UNH DB's vs. your DB's. The intangibles - home field advantage, turnovers.
This is a very even game and can go either way

How is this homerish. Whitney has struggled in games this year, as has Toman, but both have continued to win games. Kackert is just back, but Jellison has run and caught the ball very well. This game is a toss up and my assessment says as much.

...I think this gave is a slight advantage to Villanova that is close to neutral due to it being at home, but your evaluation, which gave UNH the edge in things like coaching are what made it seem homerish. Villanova is the #2 in the league and I would take Chris Whitney over either UNH QB.
Did you watch the 'Nova game last year? He was very impressive.

I can understand you point on the coaching. I think that they may be a wash. We are both undefeated this year. As for the QB situation, both have had their struggles this year which is why I chose both. The only reason that I would give Villanova the edge at this point is the fact that they beat a top team in Wm & Mary and UNh has not beaten anyone at that level as of yet.

Come Saturday all of this hoo haa does not matter. All that matters is which team WANTS TO WIN! I'm sure richmond "lost" all these pregame comparisons last year BEFORE they won the title too. JUST DO IT CATS!!xnodx

Well said. If the UNH team is half as excited as I am, they will find a way to make it close on Saturday. But don't count on a huge home crowd advantage, even if it is Homecoming. Let's just say the crowd won't be causing any false starts anytime soon xrolleyesx

We now know just as Villanova does with their QB, that if Toman struggles, we have a capable guy to come in and he will play well

People talk all the time about having two quarterbacks being a disadvantage.. I call that bull, Villanova has two Quarterbacks who could start just about anywhere else in the country and I think it's a weapon especially because Antwon gets in for about a series every game.
