“It was a game we had no chance winning,” Broadway said. “I hate to put the kids in that situation. I don’t know of anything good that comes out of it. For the football team, there was no value in it. I like to give our guys a fair opportunity to win every week, not just most weeks.”

Did Grambling play this game for free? It would be interesting to see if the players feel the same way about the opportunity to play a BCS school.
