It listed the attendance as 2,630, however, neither the Georgetown or Howard sides were full. The Howard side (which supposedly holds 800, but may hold more), had probably 100-200 people there.

Congrats to Bison on DC Cup win. Sounds like GU made it a game in the 4th. As for attendance rain didn't help.

Even the Hoyas Pep band left the game early.

Our band, "Showtime," wasn't there. The previous year, the Hoyas' Pep Band didn't make the trip over to Greene Stadium.

But all in all, good win for the program, great win for the MEAC.

The Howard Bison will take the DC Cup home this year.

I was surprised the game wasn't sold out. It was Georgetown's homecoming. Where were all of the Hoyas??

They left after the first quarter. I was there to the end, but when you're sitting on five year old temporary seats watching a team that has no offensive execution, it's easy to get out of the rain and go home.

Some were asking if this was now a precursor to an 0-11 season. Not a good sentiment in late September.

It was oversold: 2,630 for 2,400 seats. There were 4,000 registered for the pre-game, but frankly there is no place to seat everyone there....not that there weren't seats available by halftime when most students walked out in varying degrees of frustration and/or a lack of rain gear.

This team has lost 31 of its last 36.

Again, ZERO chance there were ever 2,630 in the stadium or anywhere near it. If the home side holds 1600, there were 1800-1900 there, tops.

Our fans were primarily composed of Alums and Friends of the program.

I had a feeling our students weren't going to show up... Friday night partying, mixed in with Saturday morning hangovers and rain...

Sounds like the Hoyas base attendance on tickets sold rather than fannies that enter the stadium. Inclement weather days seem to demonstrate school's attendance methodology. I know in the past few years that UNH has had games with thousands more tickets sold than the actual body count. That made it clear to me that UNH counts bodies rather than sold tickets.

Welp, I had a good time, we won, we'll be back at home next week versus Winston Salem State University. The Rams are on their farewell tour, leaving the MEAC dropping back down to DII CIAA :(
